Honorio Dondiego, 59, of Pampa passed away on November 15, 2025 at his home.

Honorio Dondiego, de 59 años y residente de Pampa, falleció el 15 de noviembre de 2025 en su domicilio.

Services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Guadalupe Mayorga, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

El funeral se celebrará el viernes 21 de noviembre de 2025 a las 14:00 horas en la iglesia católica de San Vicente de Paúl, oficiado por el reverendo Guadalupe Mayorga, párroco. El entierro tendrá lugar a continuación en el cementerio Fairview, bajo la dirección de la funeraria y crematorio Carmichael-Whatley.

Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel.

Honorio was born on August 2, 1966 in Mexico to Jesus and Nieves Rodriguez Dondiego. He grew up in Mexico and moved to Dallas when he turned 18. Honorio later moved to Fresno and eventually Pampa in 2011. He worked in the oil field for most of his life and most recently at Holman Well Services. Honorio was a devoted husband to his wife, Connie and a loving father to Gabino, and grandfather to Janie.

Honorio nació el 2 de agosto de 1966 en México, hijo de Jesús y Nieves Rodríguez Dondiego. Creció en México y se mudó a Dallas al cumplir 18 años. Posteriormente, se trasladó a Fresno y finalmente a Pampa en 2011. Trabajó en la industria petrolera la mayor parte de su vida y, más recientemente, en Holman Well Services. Honorio fue un esposo devoto de su esposa, Connie, un padre amoroso para Gabino y un abuelo cariñoso para Janie.

Honorio worked hard to provide for his family. He diligently maintained his yard and his home. Honorio had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making his family laugh. He believed in honesty and living a humble life. Honorio was the best role model his sons could ask for. He was a loyal Buffalo Bills fan and could be found near the TV anytime they were playing. Honorio was a fantastic cook and loved feeding his family. His brisket, hot links, and barbacoa were favorites at family gatherings. He took great pride in garden and even made his own salsa from the vegetables he grew. Honorio also loved his animals, he enjoyed caring for his dogs, cats, and his chickens.

Honorio trabajó arduamente para mantener a su familia. Cuidaba con esmero su jardín y su casa. Tenía un gran sentido del humor y disfrutaba haciendo reír a su familia. Creía en la honestidad y en vivir con humildad. Honorio fue el mejor ejemplo a seguir que sus hijos pudieron tener. Era un fiel seguidor de los Buffalo Bills y siempre estaba cerca del televisor cuando jugaban. Honorio era un cocinero fantástico y le encantaba agasajar a su familia. Su brisket, sus salchichas picantes y su barbacoa eran los platos favoritos en las reuniones familiares. Se enorgullecía de su huerto e incluso preparaba su propia salsa con las verduras que cultivaba. Honorio también amaba a sus animales; disfrutaba cuidando a sus perros, gatos y gallinas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Nieves Dondiego; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and one sister, Evangelina Dondiego Rojas.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Garcia; son, Gabino Dondiego; three stepsons, Angel Jimenez, Vincent Martinez, and Nahshon Martinez; one granddaughter, Janie Jiminez; ten siblings, Cuca Dondiego, Ubaldo Dondiego, Raul Dondiego, Juan Dondiego, Berth Dondiego, Irene Dondiego, Gustavo Dondiego, Carmen Dondiego, Jesus Dondiego, and Daniel Dondiego; special nieces and nephews, Humberto Dondiego, Deseraie Dondiego, Jasmine Dondiego, Jesus Dondiego, Denise Dondeigo, Mariela Dondiego, Jessica Dondiego, and Ignacio “Boy” Dondiego; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
