James “Adrian” Selvidge, 57, of Pampa, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in Pampa.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the Carpenter’s Church with Pastor Jim Sinyard, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Adrian was born on June 3, 1965, in Borger, to Robert James and Barbara Jean Selvidge. He spent most of his life living in either Borger, Skellytown, or Pampa, but Skellytown was always truly home to him. He graduated from White Deer High School in 1983. For the majority of Adrian’s career, he worked for Pat Helton Well Service, Inc. in Pampa. He also worked as a car detailer, chimney sweep, and roofer on the side.

Adrian had several hobbies which included fishing, riding motorcycles, gardening, and cooking for his family. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He was the best dad to his girls, raising them all to the best of his ability. He loved each one of them dearly, and raised Misty, Britteny, and Lynda-Kai as his own. Adrian was also a member of the Carpenter’s Church. He loved going to church and read the Bible often. He had a deep knowledge of the Bible, often able to tell you exactly where certain verses and phrases could be found. Adrian was a kind and loving man, and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his three dogs: Sadie, Beeper, and Wookie.

Adrian is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Selvidge; half-sister, Rhonda Snow; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and a cousin, Jammer Hicks.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie Howard Selvidge of the home; four daughters, Trey Mathes of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Misty Garza of Pampa, Britteny Mathes and Linda-Kai Elwood, both of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Liam Mathes, Dillon Garza, Abram Garza, Devin Elwood, A’mari Todd, and Nailani Hawkins; his father, Robbie Selvidge of Hartman, Arkansas; brother, Eddie Selvidge of Hartman, Arkansas; half-brother, Terry Lewis and wife Anna of Panhandle; cousins, William Hicks, Josh Wheeler, Roy Wheeler, Rashell Foster, Floyd Rhodes, and Larenda Norman; niece, Kara Webb; and two nephews, Andrew Snow and Adam Snow.
