Jeff Anderson, 63, of Pampa and formerly of Borger, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 with his family by his side.

Memorial services will be 10:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with John Ross officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory. The memorial service will be livestreamed through the funeral home website.

Jeff was born April 6, 1962 in Borger to Eddie and Arvella Anderson. He attended Borger High School and went on to earn some credit hours at Frank Phillips Community College. On March 8, 1980, he married his high school sweetheart, Letha Gillingham.

Jeff was an Army Veteran serving from 1984 until 1987 and served in the reserves until 1991. He was loyal and faithful to his country. Jeff was a hard worker, overcoming many obstacles throughout his life. He worked for Borger Redi-Mix before and after he returned from his military duties. Jeff worked for four years driving a bus from Texas to Portales with TNM&O Bus Lines and worked for Budweiser Distributors for a short time. In 1992, he began working at Sears in Amarillo until 1996. Jeff became interested in computers and worked for MicroAge Computers as an IT Specialist until 1999. He would spend the next 10 years working for Pampa Regional Medical Center until he was diagnosed with cancer. When he was able to return to work, he found employment at On Time Technologies for a few years before working for the City of Borger for five years and retiring in 2023.

Jeff had a quirky sense of humor, he enjoyed telling dad jokes to all who would listen. He was an avid fan of Star Wars, Star Trek, Mash, and old western shows. Jeff also enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle and going target shooting; keeping his sharpshooter skills fine-tuned. Spending time with his family and extended family was important to him. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant baby brother.

Survivors include his wife, Letha; two sons, Chris Anderson and Robert “Bobby” Anderson and wife Gillian; two daughters, April Whitson and husband Elmer and Letha “Nikki” Anderson; two brothers, Launie Anderson and wife Teresa and Tim Anderson and wife Becky; grandsons, Jeremy Whitson, Elijah Anderson, and Stefan Anderson; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins which includes his uncle, Vernon Anderson.

In honor of Jeff, the family request a tree to be planted in his memory.
