Patti Beard

Patti Beard, 57, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

A celebration of Patti’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Minister Sherye Talley, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Patti was born on May 2, 1968 in Liberal, Kansas to Keith Patterson and Marilyn Whitt. She was raised all over the Texas panhandle but mainly attended school in Perryton. In her 20’s, Patti earned her GED and later took accounting classes. She moved to Canadian in 1994, where she resided until 2015 when she moved to Pampa. In 1998, Patti and her family started TLC Cleaning which did not stand for tender, loving care; it stood for The Last Call. She married the love of her life, Andrew Beard, on October 13, 2006.

Patti enjoyed shopping and could always find a way to stretch a dollar. She loved going to thrift stores and garage sales. Patti had the most incredible gift for finding the most beautiful things that just needed a little bit of elbow grease or a new coat of paint to really shine. She also had a passion for decorating her home and making it beautiful.

Patti was a loving wife and mother, a devoted aunt, a true friend, and so much more. However, her favorite role was being Nene to her grandson, Decklin. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Especially during the holidays and even more so during their annual Christmas Cookie Bake. Patti had a larger-than-life personality; she was kind, generous, hardworking, protective, and a little sassy. She was small, but fierce. There are not enough words to accurately describe all that Patti was, she was truly one of a kind.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Keith Patterson and Marilyn Whitt; her stepmother, Sandy Patterson; three siblings, Marla Hornsby, Jeff Patterson, and Cameron Simpson; and one brother-in-law, Phillip Beard.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew Beard; daughter, Jacee McKinnis and wife Kortney; two grandchildren, Decklin Andrew Strong and Onnaliese Strong; four siblings, Mark Patterson, Kim Schroeder and husband Jason, Alana Mowry, and Joe Patterson; sister-in-law, Nikki Beard; father-in-law, Paul Beard; mother-in-law, Jeanne Bolton; numerous nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and a host of other extended family members.
