Jerry Mabry

Jerry Mabry, 67, of Wewoka, Oklahoma, formerly of Pampa, passed away on May 30, 2020 in Elk City, Oklahoma. 

No services are scheduled at this time.  Viewing will be Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 12:00pm to Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 8:00pm.                    

Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Jerry was born May 18, 1953 in Friona to Walter and Maurine Mabry.  He graduated from Friona High School.  Jerry was a long-time resident of Pampa where he worked over 25 years with Pioneer Natural Gas.  After he retired, he began working for WW Fiberglass as a shop foreman and worked there for 12 years before he retired again.  He was currently living in Wewoka, Oklahoma with his son.  Anytime Jerry had a chance he would make his way to a casino, he enjoyed playing slot machines and craps.  He also enjoyed playing games on his tablet and fishing when he was able to.  He loved his family and the time they spent together, but most of all he loved being “Papa” to his 4 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren.

Survivors include is daughter, Katie Ulibarri of Amarillo; son, Zach Mabry and wife Jessie of Wewoka, Oklahoma; a sister, Belinda Rhodes and husband Howard of West Virginia; 5 brothers, Joe Mabry, Terry Mabry, Larry Mabry, Randy Mabry, and Doyle Mabry all of Lubbock; 4 granddaughters  Brittany Hennig, Brianna Miller, Brandee Mabry, and Brooklynn Gilstorf;  5 great grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by a brother, Laverne Mabry, and his parents.
