Joel Guerrero

Joel Guerrero, 59, of Pampa, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 in Pampa.

Vigil services will be 5:00 PM Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be said 10:00 AM Thursday February 18, 2021 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Guerrero was born on June 17, 1961 in Los Zarquenos Durango, Mexico.  Joel married Maria Ruiz in 1984.  He was a welder for many years and later became a truck driver.  Joel moved his family to Pampa in 2011.  He enjoyed watching sports and raising his livestock.  Joel was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church.  He took pride in working hard to provide for his family.

Survivors include his wife, Maria of the home; two daughters, Gloria Vega of Pampa and Dulce Avila of Perris, California; a son George Guerrero of Pampa; 11 brothers and sisters, Berta, Benito, Jose Cruz, Francisco, Manuel, Luz Elena, Micaela, Elsa, Benita, Rosa, and Basilio; 3 grandchildren, Alex Martinez, Janelie Guandique, and Ximena Vega.
