Jolene Looper

Jolene Looper, 80, of Pampa passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 in Pampa.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Jolene was born November 27, 1939 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Andrew and Arizona Beam.  She attended school at Pauls Valley High School.  Jolene was a caregiver most of her life and loved to help others.  While in Pampa she attended First Assembly of God Church.  Collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and collectible spoons was a hobby of Jolene’s.  Being “Granny” and “Grandma Jo” was an important part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Nancy Whitefield and 7 siblings.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Sweeney and wife Sonya of Pampa; her daughter, Rebecca Knight and husband Joe of Wynnewood, Oklahoma and Jana Michelle Mayes and husband Brad of Cashion, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jeffrey Sweeney and wife Melanie, K’Leigh Douglas and husband Reese and their children, Clayton, Hendrix, and Ryver, Ashlee Davis and husband Keenan and their daughter Bree Ryan, Roper Sweeney and Hunter Roberts and their daughter Sylar, Heather Shaffer, Flora Knight, Crissina Whitefield and her children Jessica and Colton, Jessica Jackson and husband Jaren, Hanah Mayes, and Chase Mayes.
