Joyce Marie Becker

Joyce Marie Becker, 83, of Pampa passed onto her heavenly reward on Sunday, December 6, 2020.

Private family services will be held at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Joyce was born in Jasper County, Missouri, at the family home, on November 6, 1937 to Wilbert Raymond and Cecilia Elizabeth Liles Gilstrap. She loved spending time with her dogs. Joyce enjoyed making ceramics, painting, gardening, quilting, sewing, knitting, and singing for the residents at the local nursing homes. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Lettie Mae Miller; her son, Larry Steele; and her husband, James Becker.

She is survived by her son, Ken Steele and wife Alice and two grandchildren, Greg Steele and Sally Steele-Corbett.
