Joyce Jenell Elliott

Joyce Jenell Elliott, 90, of Pampa passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 in Pampa.

Private burial will be Friday, March 12, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery. Public viewing will begin Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Joyce was born August 8, 1930 in Fieldton. In 1949, she married John Lide in Amhurst, he passed away in 1962. On December 4, 1964, Joyce married Olan Elliott in Farwell. They celebrated 43 years of marriage before he passed away in 2007. She enjoyed living on the farm in Missouri before moving back to Texas. Joyce loved to have a pretty green yard and beautiful flowers. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Pampa. Olan and Joyce enjoyed selling knick knacks at Trash & Treasures, at one time they had three booths. She loved her family especially being "grandma" and "memaw J" to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Cletis Courter.

Survivors include a son, Gary Lide and wife Debbie of Miami; 2 daughters, Brenda Harris of Stark City, MO and Janice Parker and husband Dudley of Canyon; brother, Jack Garrison of Springfield, MO; 7 grandchildren, John Lide and wife Melissa of Lubbock, Jodi Allen and husband Bill of Pampa, Clovis Harris and Michelle of Stark City, MO, Brent Harris and wife Cindy of Stark City, MO, Abbey Wilkinson and husband Trey of Amarillo, Ashley Brummett and husband Bob of Amarillo, and Andy Parker and wife Lacy of Amarillo; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
