Kamron Hassler

Kamron Hassler, 33, of Skellytown, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026 in Amarillo.

Services will be 4:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2026 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Buck, pastor of Redeemer Church in Pampa, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Friday and 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM Saturday. 

Kamron was born on October 19, 1992, in Amarillo. He grew up in the Skellytown area and graduated from White Deer High School in 2011. Following high school, Kamron attended Amarillo College, where he earned his firefighter certification. With a heart for serving others, he spent several years as a member of the Skellytown Volunteer Fire Department.

Kamron was a talented, hardworking man who was never afraid to roll up his sleeves and get the job done. He worked for SWM for several years and later put his skills to work as a heavy equipment operator for several gravel pits throughout Hutchinson and Carson counties. Most recently, he had accepted a new position with Mortenson Construction at the new data center in Hereford. He was incredibly excited about this new opportunity.

Kamron attended Redeemer Church and was actively involved in Celebrate Recovery. One of the accomplishments he was most proud of was nearly five years of sobriety. It was a journey that required tremendous strength, determination, and perseverance. Kamron was grateful for the many people who walked beside him and helped him along the way, and he made it a priority to do the same for others. He understood the struggles people faced because he had experienced his own, and that understanding gave him a special ability to encourage, support, and help others who were fighting their own battles.

Even during difficult times in his own life, Kamron was often focused on helping someone else. He was a giver at heart, and his caring and loving nature was shown not simply through his words, but through his actions. If someone needed a helping hand, encouragement, or simply someone who understood, Kamron wanted to be there.

Above everything else, Kamron loved his family deeply. He was always proud to be a momma’s boy and shared a special bond with his mother. His family meant the world to him, and one of his greatest joys was looking forward to the arrival of his son, who is expected to be born in January.

Kamron’s life will be remembered for his big heart, his willingness to lend a hand, his love for his family, and the way he continued to look forward with hope. His laugh was contagious and will be missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Hassler of Pampa; parents, Bruce and Suzie Wilson of Skellytown; two brothers, Allen Hassler and Justice of Pampa and Nicklas Bradley of Skellytown; grandparents, Dennis and Judy Bosley of Hinton, Oklahoma; aunts and uncles, Mindy Howard of Skellytown and Clayton and Christy White of Hinton, Oklahoma; and 6 nieces and nephews.
