Katherine Williams

July 20, 1930 — December 19, 2021

Katherine Ann McSpadden Williams 91, of Pampa, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, in Pampa, Texas.

Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of White Deer with Rev. Alan Wilson, pastor of First Baptist Church White Deer, Texas, officiating and Rev. Byron Williamson of the First Baptist Church of Pampa, assisting. Burial will follow at the White Deer Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Katherine was born July 20, 1930, in Mauldin, Missouri to Earnest Neal and Leo Velma Renfro McSpadden. She married the love of her life R.A. Williams Jr., February 15, 1948, in Wellington. She grew up in many places as she lost her mother at the age of three, and her father moved often to various jobs in several states. She graduated from High School in Wellington and Cosmetology school in Pampa, Texas.

In 1941 living in Thomas, OK, at a Church revival she accepted the Lord as her savior for eternal life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in White Deer where she taught Sunday School to preschool and children’s classes and Vacation Bible school. She read her Bible daily and knew the Lord would get her through all the storms in life that come her way. She made a career as a beautician at Seitz Beauty shop in White Deer. She loved her family and they spent lots of time together, camping, fishing, skiing, and playing.

Katherine spent retirement years with the love of her life flying in A’s airplanes sightseeing in many states and snow birding in their 5th Wheel in Aransas Pass. R.A. would precede her in death on October 2, 2009. She could hardly wait to see the newest grandchild, to love, hold and squeeze them. She had a long life and enjoyed every minute. She will be missed, but she was ready and anxious to see her Savior face to face and many loved ones that have previously passed.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, four sisters and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Tana Everett and husband Clifton of Denton, Walter Williams and wife Barbara of Pampa, Robert Williams and wife Gail of Longview;  two grandchildren:   Lori Mcgraw and husband Brett of Loveland, CO, Randy Williams and wife Shea of Longview; nine great grandchildren:  Macie Massicotte and husband Mike of San Antonio, Makenzie Schaffer of Lubbock, Dakota Cole Everett of Amarillo, Macaylie Schaffer of San Antonio, Ashton, Brooklyn, Cazlyn and Drelyn McGraw of Loveland, CO., and Raquel Williams of Marshall;  four great great grandchildren:   Laynee and Baylor Massicotte of San Antonio, and Carson Smith and Austyn Jordon of Marshall,  six siblings and many other relatives and friends.

Family will be at 2521 Chestnut Dr., Pampa, Texas.

The family would like to thank the Meredith Place for taking very good care of mom. She loved all of them and all the activities each day.
