Kenneth Holt, 82, of Pampa, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 in Pampa.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Rick Parnell officiating. Inurnment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Kenneth was born June 25, 1943 in Pampa to JW and Alma Holt. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1963. In December of 1965, Kenneth enlisted in the US Army National Guard. He served faithfully until 1971, when he was honorably discharged. Kenneth worked for the Pampa Fire Department from 1975 until the early 80’s. While he was on the fire department, he started working at Titan Specialties. Kenneth was a welder at Titan and worked there for over 30 years before he retired in 2011. He made many life-long friendships while working there.
Kenneth married Charlene Stephens on February 14, 1981 in Pampa. They celebrated almost 38 years of marriage before she passed away on January 24, 2019. They enjoyed traveling together, especially their trips to Red River. When they were both able, they enjoyed going dancing as much as they could. Kenneth enjoyed watching old westerns and NBA basketball.
Kenneth was an honest and gentle man who had a heart of gold. He would help anyone in need and loved to give to others. He was a loyal friend and one who stood by his word. He was a great father, who showed his daughter real life lessons as she was growing up. He taught her how to be independent and take care of herself. Kenneth also had a fun side to him, he was a prankster at work over the years and made many wonderful memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, James Holt.
Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Copeland and husband Ed of Amarillo and Coye Sue Hoth and husband Jay of Texas; sister, Joann Sweatt of Odessa; grandchildren, Colby Copeland and Haley Casey and husband Brandon all of Amarillo, Farah McNabb, Jaime Anderson, Alex Frazier and wife Kasey, and Adam Frazier and wife Abi; great grandchildren, Kamden, Kelbi, Kreed, Elliot, Duncan, Jordan, Kaelyn, Remington, Logan, and Miles; two great great grandchildren, Taylor and Tripp.
