Larry Beck, 77, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 in Pampa.
Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Pampa with Brother Charlie Floyd, pastor of Texola Baptist Church and Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Texola Cemetery in Texola, Oklahoma at 2:30 PM. Burial and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Larry was born on March 1, 1945 in Maysville, Arkansas to Cleo and Bertha Beck. He graduated from Erick High School in Erick, Oklahoma in 1963. On January 18, 1964, he married Tommye Nidiffer, they have celebrated 58 years of marriage. They moved to Pampa in 1965 and Larry began his career as an electrician. He worked for Quarles Electric until 1978 when he then opened Larry Beck Electric. While he owned and operated the electrical business, Larry was an entrepreneur buying and selling multiple business which includes B&G Electric. He retired after 42 years, as an electrician, in 2007 and began working full time at TL Ranches. Over the years, he was able to acquire several ranches in western Oklahoma. Larry loved ranching, farming, and hunting. He especially loved it when all of his family was able to be there together at the ranch. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pampa for many years and a past member of the Optimist Club. Larry was very proud of his family, all of his business ventures, and he loved to help others get their business started. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Beck Blevins; brother, Billy Beck; sister-in-law, Glenda Beck; and numerous other family members.
Survivors include his wife, Tommye of the home; a son, Brian Beck and wife Tina of Pampa; daughter, Brandi Beck-Rabel of Pampa; three sisters, Maryoln Beck Topper and husband Wayne, Carolyn Beck-Bradley all of Pampa, and Brenda Black of Monument, Colorado; brother, Randy Beck of Pampa; 3 grandchildren, Lexton Rabel and wife Ashley of Granbury, Macye Rabel , and Justin Beck all of Pampa; step granddaughter, Ashlee Patton and husband Travis of Pampa; four great grandchildren, Talan, Paisley, Trevor, and Trey. A special thank you to his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Bruns, Marty Beck, and Lowry Hunt for loving and taking care of Larry.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 PM.
