Lesli Dawne Lemons Trumble

July 24, 1968 — December 12, 2021

Lesli Dawne Lemons Trumble, 53, of White Deer, passed away on December 12, 2021 at her home.

Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Community Crossroads Church in White Deer with Rev. Dr. Jerry Lane, pastor, and Rev. Dr. Stan Crosby, pastor of Hedley United Methodist Church and Memphis United Methodist Church, officiating. Lesli was born on July 24, 1968 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Al and Peggy Lemons. Lesli spent her childhood being a coach’s kid and collecting memories and friends along the way. Lesli moved to White Deer in 1978. She was active in high school, where she enjoyed a variety of activities such as band, track, basketball, and One Act Play. Lesli graduated with honors in 1986 and attended McMurry University and West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas. Lesli had 3 children moved away for several years before coming back to reside in Pampa. She worked at CRL Pump and Supply for the past 7 ½ years as the store manager. Lesli loved and enjoyed her job, customers, and being able to hold her own with her knowledge and passion for getting things done right. Lesli was insistent on making the most of life; she traveled, planted flowers, shopped to the point of wearing out anyone brave enough to tag along, and planned casino trips. She attended a variety of family events, smiling for pictures, making jokes, and saying whatever came to her mind. Lesli made the most out of her time, with faith, class, and no regrets. She was the inventor of Hallothanksmas and the center of family fun. Lesli was incredibly proud of her daughters and son, as they all brought her indescribable joy. The bond they shared was beautiful, even in the tough times they could laugh and overcome it all. Second to her children was the relationship she had with her grandsons, MiMi always said “yes”.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Traci Noah; paternal grandparents, Mason and Nell Lemons; maternal grandparents, Veck Haskell and Lyla Haskell; and an aunt, Vesta Patee.

Survivors include 3 children, Whitney Short and husband Don of Amarillo, Kiley Goldston of White Deer and Brendan Hudspeth of White Deer; 2 grandsons, Graysen and Brooks Short of Amarillo; her parents, Al and Peggy Lemons of White Deer; 2 sisters, Kari Hayes and Husband Truitt of Amarillo and Cortni Angeley and husband Buck of Snyder; 7 nephews, Evin Abbe, Aron Abbe, Eric Abbe and wife Hailey all of Abilene, Chandler Hayes and wife Haley, Logan Hayes all of Amarillo, Dyllan and Jaxon Angeley of Snyder; 2 great nephews, Allen and Easton Hayes of Amarillo along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
