Lois Gertrude Cloud Thrasher, 96, of Pampa peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
Due to our current health conditions in our community and government regulations for small gatherings there will be a private family service at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens of Pampa. Arrangements are by Carmichael Whatley Funeral Directors.
Lois will be available for viewing on Thursday from 1:00 PM- 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lois Gertrude Cloud was born in Higgins to Homer Fay Cloud and Ethel Elizabeth Hostutler on March 2, 1924. She graduated from Higgins High School. She married Bobbie Lynn Thrasher on November 9, 1945 in Pampa. She worked as a saleslady for the Hurn dry goods store in Higgins. She went to Kentucky Avenue Church of Christ loyally for many years. Lois loved unconditionally and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Thrasher, her parents Homer and Ethel, as well as her siblings Homer Jr., Rose Ellen, Eunice, Donald, Dennis, Grace, Hope, and Sharon.
Lois is survived by her 3 children; eldest son, Ron Thrasher and his wife Ann, daughter, Carol Reed and her husband Joe, and youngest son, Gary Thrasher, all of Pampa; her sister, Alice Jernigan of Blackwell, Oklahoma; her 9 grandkids, Karen, Becky, Ben, Tami, Cheri, Chris, Tausha, Laci, Neveah; her 18 great grandkids, Annika, Phoebe, Jack, Ashley, Tara, Andrew, Ashley, Heather, Kayla, John, Hudson, Stella, Brenden, Jordan, Walker, Gage, Allison, and Levi; her 2 great-great grandkids; Ryleigh, Gabriella, as well as several other loving family members.
