Lorelei Smith

Lorelei Smith, 78, of Pampa, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, in Pampa.

Services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Erickson, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory. 

Lorelei was born on July 29, 1947, to Art and Evelyn Morgan in Chehalis, Washington. She graduated from Centralia High School in 1966. Lorelei found the love of her life, Earl Smith, and they were married in December 1977. After Earl’s passing, Lorelei moved to Pampa on June 16, 2019. 

Lorelei was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church. She loved to go on long car rides to try new foods. Lorelei enjoyed knitting and was a vast reader. She loved her dog Duncan with all of her heart.

Lorelei is preceded in death by her parents, Art Morgan and Evelyn Pacthorn; husband, Earl Smith; sisters, Barbara Jean and Linda; and brother, Richard Morgan.

She is survived by her son, David Smith and wife Kathy; daughter, D’Arcy Reynolds; grandchildren, John Smith, Joe Smith, and Sara Kirshner; three great-grandchildren; sister, Kay; brother, Steve Morgan; and lifelong friend, Glenna Carlstrom.
