Lucille "Sissy" Romero

Lucille “Sissy” Romero, 65, of Pampa passed away on December 31, 2020 in Lubbock.

Lucille was born December 19, 1955 to Johnnie Ray and Wanda Davis. She attended schools in Pampa growing up. She married Jose Dolores Romero on June 5, 1978 in Pampa; he passed away on January 3, 2009. Lucille was a long-time member of First Pentecostal Holiness and was a healthcare caregiver for many years. Her family was very important to her and she loved spending time with each of them. She enjoyed working in her yard and cooking. She was a wonderful “Grandma” to her grandchildren and “Mimi” to her nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, Nicolas Romero of the Pampa; 3 sisters, Regina Romero and husband Felipe, Tonia Davis, and Amanda Smith and husband Luke all of Pampa; a brother, Ray Davis and wife Carla of Pampa; 2 grandchildren, David Loyd and Mercadez Romero; and numerous nieces and nephews.
