Martha Maple

Martha Maple, 86, of Pampa, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at her home.

Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, September 13, 2021 at Highland Baptist Church with Brother Paul Nachtigall, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Maple was born on Christmas eve of 1934 in Idabel, Oklahoma to Dewey and Hallie Nelson Bullard. Martha moved to Pampa in 1954 and married Jim Maple on Dec 20, 1957 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2008. She loved to play bingo, spend time with family and friends, and her dog, Bubba. Martha was a homemaker and an active member at Highland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Ruth Baird.

Martha is survived by a daughter, Connie Rippetoe and husband Roy of Grandbury; a son, Kenny Maple and wife Tammye of Pampa; a sister, Ruby Owen and husband Dan of Roswell, New Mexico; a brother, George Bullard and wife Shirley of Wichita Falls; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
