Mary Ann Ebenkamp, 92, of Pampa, passed away, November 14, 2020 in Amarillo.

Funeral Mass will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating, and Rev. John Valdez of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarillo, assisting. The rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM before the Mass. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mary Ann will be available for viewing from 10:00 AM till 8:00 PM on Monday, November 16, 2020 at the funeral home and from 8:00 AM till 12:00 PM on Tuesday.

At the family’s request, masks are required for Mary Ann’s service.

Mary Ann was born on May 1, 1928 in Nashville, KS to Anton and Marie Ann Panek. She grew up and attended school in Kansas. She later met the love of her life, Lawrence J. Ebenkamp and they later wed on September 8, 1947 in St. Leo, KS. A few years later they moved to Pampa in 1958 where they resided ever since.  They shared many wonderful years before Lawrence preceded her in death after 52 years of marriage.  She was longtime member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and she served in their Women’s Council.

She was a generous woman who gave a lot of her time to Pampa Senior Citizens and Good Sam’s that spanned 22 years. The most important thing was her family and Mary Ann was an incredibly supportive mother to her six sons and their families. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Jason Ebenkamp; a daughter-in-law, D’lyn Ebenkamp; three brothers; and her two sisters.

Her survivors include six sons, Ron Ebenkamp and wife Dana of Thornton, Colorado, Michael “Mickey” Ebenkamp and wife Kayla of Canyon, Bob Ebenkamp and wife Linda of Amarillo, Allen Ebenkamp and wife Jill of Canyon, Mark Ebenkamp and wife Misti of Amarillo, and Kevin Ebenkamp and wife Daphne of Pampa; a brother, Leroy Panek of Cunningham, Kansas; her 18 grandchildren; by 12 great-grandchildren; and other extended family.
