Mary Evelyne Terry-Hepler, 98, of Amarillo, and formerly of Pampa, passed away on August 25, 2025, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Norman Rushing officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Mary was born on March 15, 1927 to Shelbie and Odell Patterson in Montague County, Texas. She worked in the medical field for approximately 40 years. She attended LVN school at Hillsboro Hospital, worked in admitting at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, Worley Hospital and Highland General Hospital in Pampa, also at the Medical and Surgical clinic in Pampa for eleven and a half years. She also worked as an office clerk for eight years at Flint Engineering and Construction in Pampa. Mary retired from Outreach Home Health in 1981.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Terry; her parents; her step-parents; four brothers; a nephew; and a niece.
Mary is survived by her son Pat (Kim) Terry of Amarillo; two grandsons, Shane (Cindy) Terry of Amarillo, and Chris Terry of Houston; four granddaughters, Kim (Jack) Cabler of Wimberly, TX, Brandi (Bobby) Stopka of Amarillo, Tiffiny (Eddie) Gwynn of Lubbock, TX, and Rose (Jay) Kelley of Amarillo; ten great-grandsons, Kyle, Braydon, Jacob, Gavin, Bronson, Jax, Ethan, Colton, Grant and Ben; three great-granddaughters, Taylor, Skylar and Olivia; one great-great-granddaughter Aurora; and many more beloved nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
