Michael McGill

Michael McGill, 63, of Pampa, passed away on May 20, 2025, at his home in Pampa.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Michael was born on September 7, 1961, in Beaver, Oklahoma to Alvin and Jeannette McGill. His family moved to Pampa when he was a young boy and that is where he grew up and attended school. Michael joined the oil & gas industry working as a Pipeliner with his father. Michael and Alvin would travel extensively throughout the United States, working many years and in several different states.

Eventually, Michael would exit the profession after a couple of surgeries. He later kept busy working around his apartment complex. Michael would also help any of his neighbors with their yards or everyday duties if they were in need. He also loved to listen to classic rock and country music and watch rodeos and football. Michael was a private but giving man who will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Matt McGill Heiskell; sisters, Cheryl McGill Wright, and Debra McGill; grandparents, Billie & L.A. McGill, and Vera & Mike Johnson.

Michael is survived by his children, Natasha McGill Henderson and husband Kerry, and Ashely McGill Heiskell; grandchildren, Neveah Henderson, and Teyah Henderson; sister, Pamela McGill Lowery and husband Crickett; aunt, Helen McGill; uncle, Bill McGill; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
