Michael Edward Taylor

Michael Edward Taylor, 55, of Pampa, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Pampa.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Robert H. Taylor, Michael’s brother, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Michael was born on April 23, 1970 in Pampa to Harold Wilson Taylor and Amy Lucile “Cile” Gordon Taylor. He grew up and attended school in Pampa. Michael worked various jobs over the years and most recently as a welder for National Oil Well. His ability to approach challenges at work creatively was evident no matter what job he was doing. Michael enjoyed woodworking, metal fabrication, model building, and any do-it-yourself projects he could find. He was generous, caring, and had a big heart.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Cile Taylor; two children, Alice Marie Taylor and Jonathan Taylor; maternal grandparents, Robert and Wilma Gordon; paternal grandparents, Harvie and Laura Taylor; and two aunts, Marguarite Ruth Jayne and Laura Sue Pollard.

He is survived by his brother, Dr. Robert H. Taylor and wife Anna of Pampa; two nieces, Ashlei Hastings and husband Cameron of Amarillo, and Abigail Wilson and husband Dakota of Pampa; one grandniece, Annalei Wilson; daughter-in-law Mikala Taylor and granddaughter JoLee Taylor; and two cousins, Jeff Pollard and Chris Pollard.
