Owen Travis O.T. "Bud" Brown

Owen Travis O.T. “Bud” Brown, 70, of Pampa, passed away April 14, 2020 in Pampa.

Bud will be available for viewing on Friday, April 17, 2020 from 1:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Bud was born on March 14, 1950 in Dallas to Marie and Ezekiel Brown.  As a young boy he attended schools and grew up in both Paris and Pampa. Years later Bud moved to Pampa in the early 80’s residing ever since. He was a long-time employee of the Pampa Independent School District and retired with over 20 years of service.

He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. In his spare time Bud liked to fish, play softball and play dominos with all his friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Saundra Jo Norton and Toni Marie Brown, and by a brother, Robert Allen Brown.

Survivors include his sister, Pat Murry and husband Tommy of Pampa; five nieces, Tia Touchstone of Pampa, Stacey Brown of Austin, Yolanda Brown of Hearns, Courtney Brown and Laquita Brown, both of Lawton, Oklahoma; two cousins, Ulysses Lusk of Dallas and Paul Anderson of Paris; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 441 Elm St., Pampa, Texas 79065.
