Patsy “Pat” Elmira Hatcher Finney, 80,  of Pampa, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 in Wheeler.

Pat was born in Pampa on November 22, 1941 to Elmer and Alice Elmira Hoff. She was later adopted by Jess and May Hatcher. Pat attended school at Pampa ISD. She grew up helping her daddy train horses. He built a train, kiddy cars, merry-go-rounds, and a shetland pony ride. Pat loved helping him run this for many years. She married Monrow Finney, the love of her life, in 1970. She loved being anywhere with Monrow, whether it was going to work with him, riding motorcycles, camping at Lake McLellan, squaring dancing, and traveling all over the United States. You could always find Pat dancing in the kitchen. Pat loved life. She laughed so easily at the silliest things, especially, her great-grandchildren. Grandma was always playing card games with friends and her great-grandchildren, teaching the “littles” the valuable lessons of not cheating. “Grams does not play with cheaters.” She would leave the table! Laughter was always around her. She loved her family more than anything.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Monrow Finney; and one son, Marvin Finney.

She is survived by one brother, Art Hoff of San Antonio; four children, Dale Finney and wife Patti of Amarillo, Connie Hicks and husband David of Rogers, De Anna Quarles and husband Tim of Cookson, Oklahoma, and Jerry Finney and wife Kas of Pampa; 11 grandchildren, Matthew Finney, Nathan Hicks, Erin Connell, James Finney, Trae Finney, Mark Lamar, Jennifer Kent, Jessica Helton, Jesse Finney, Samantha Jackson, and JW Helton; and great-grandchildren galore!

Pat was surrounded by loved ones when she passed on to Heaven.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas, 66675-8516.
