Ricky Sanchez

Ricky Sanchez, 41 of Pampa, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 in Pampa.

Memorial graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Joel Osborne, pastor a Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Ricky was born on October 13, 1984 in Mexico to Enrique Sanchez and Maria Rodriguez Sanchez. He attended school in Pampa, first going to Baker Elementary then Pampa Junior High School. Ricky worked at McDonalds for a short time after he finished school. He spent most of his time at home preferring to do his yard work in peace and keep an eye on his neighborhood.

Ricky was a hardworking and kind man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and making holidays special. He especially liked to decorate for Christmas and celebrate his birthday. Ricky was a loyal 49er’s fan, just like his father. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a compassionate heart. He enjoyed running laps around his house when he was younger. Ricky was guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. He lived a simple, but very happy life. Ricky will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Enrique Sanchez; his maternal grandparents, Jose and Manuela Rodriguez; his paternal grandparents, Enrique Sanchez and Carmen Marrufo; one uncle, Jose Sanchez; and one cousin, Estephani Gonzales.

He is survived by his son, Aiden Sanchez; his mother, Maria Ford and husband Charles; two siblings, MJ Portillo and husband Ernesto Portillo, Jr. and Herrick Sanchez; aunts and uncles, Bertha Cordova and husband Francisco, Joe Rodriguez, Ray Rodriguez and wife Sofia, Abel Rodriguez, Cynthia Miller, Lorena Rodriguez and boyfriend Gilbert Villarreal, Gisela Portillo and husband Manuel, Rudy Rodriguez, Salvador Rodriguez, Lourdes Perez and husband Marc, Jesus “Chuy” Rodriguez, Geraldo Sanchez and wife Lupe, Antion Villega and wife Julieta Reyes, San Suana Sanchez, Rosalinda Sanchez, Yesenia Sanchez, Esiquel Corral, and Marisela Sanchez; and numerous cousins.
