Robert Jefferson Hogan, Jr.

Robert Jefferson Hogan, Jr., 69, of Bandera, passed away March 17, 2020 at his home in Bandera.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2020, at Mobeetie Cemetery, with Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Happy, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

Robert was born May 16, 1950 in Pampa.  He attended school in Mobeetie and received a PhD in agriculture and economics from Oklahoma State University.  He married Geniva Shugart on January 9, 1991. Robert was a professor at Texas A&M University for 13 years.    

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Geniva Hogan; a son, Michael Farrel and wife Danilyn; his mother, Louise Hogan; and two grandsons, Danny Farrel and Dillon Farrel.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hogan; a brother, Walter Earl Hogan; and grandparents, Ruphert and Estelle Orr.
