Roger D. Lamb, 79, of Pampa, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in Wheeler.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Roger was born to Clare and Thelma Lamb on May 28, 1944, in Red Cloud, Nebraska. He grew up in the small farming community of Esbon, Kansas. Roger graduated from Esbon High School in 1962. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. Roger married the love of his life, Linda Parish, in 1969. Roger owned his own land surveying company in Pampa for 26 years. He enjoyed spending time on his small farm in Kansas, as well as doing woodworking projects in his shop at home, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Clare and Thelma.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; two sons, Jeff Lamb, and Greg Lamb and wife Heather, all of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Kaylee and Emilee Lamb, Chase Raymer, Skyler and Wyatt Lamb, all of Amarillo; great-granddaughter, Indy Nugent; and two sisters, Joan Broeckelman of Esbon, Kansas, and Jamie Lamb of Beloit, Kansas.
