Rosalie Maureen McGehee

Rosalie Maureen McGehee, 69, of Colorado, peacefully passed in her sleep at her home on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Rosalie was born on June 1, 1956 in El Paso to Robert Clarence McGehee and LuVena Mae Lines McGehee. Her family moved to Colorado when she was young and where she considered home. Rosalie worked several jobs to provide for her family. However, her favorite job was being a stay-at-home mother. She never forgot a birthday and loved her family dearly.

Rosalie was a talented guitarist and singer, she dreamed of being a country singer when she was younger. She especially liked playing music with her brother Squire. Rosalie even wrote some of her own songs. She was a devoted grandmother and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She loved animals and had a kind heart. Rosalie was ornery and would stop at nothing to get the last laugh. She also had a wonderful sense of humor. Rosalie dealt with many health problems in the last several years of her life, but that didn’t stop her from living the best life she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and LuVena McGehee; and two siblings, Bobby McGehee and Marilyn Elaine McGehee.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Chaput and wife Wendy Sullivan of Concord, New Hampshire and Koren Kingery and fiancé Sean Dill of Pampa; her brother, Squire McGehee and wife Brenda of Loveland, Colorado; sister-in-law, Linda McGehee; her lifelong companion, Gerry Dean Rusch; grandchildren, Alexander Rusch, Eryk Rusch, Tyler Chaput, and Christopher Hogen; niece and nephew, Richelle Riojas and Lucas Riojas.
