Sarah Ann (Miller) Jordan, 57, of Pampa and formerly of Midland, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in Pampa, Texas.

Sarah was born on May 10, 1969, in Pampa to Joe and Dorothy Miller. She grew up in Pampa and graduated from Pampa High School in 1987. During her childhood, Sarah enjoyed participating in basketball and softball and was also active in 4-H as well as following her big brother and sister around town to all of their activities, as only the best of youngest siblings do. After graduation, she attended McMurry College in Abilene before beginning her professional career.

Above all else, Sarah’s greatest joy and priority in life was being a mother to her two children, Austin and Abby. She was their biggest supporter and rarely missed a sporting event, traveling wherever necessary to cheer them on from the sidelines. She took great pride in her children and their friends and teammates and treasured the time she spent watching them grow and pursue their interests.

In her 35 years of working in the oil and gas industry, Sarah was a mild-mannered, dedicated, and hardworking woman who often led not with words but with steady action, earning both deep respect as a leader in her area of expertise and a loyal and accountable teammate. She was a past member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a philanthropic sorority.

Family meant everything to Sarah. She cared deeply for those she loved and had a special way of bringing peace and understanding to those around her. Sarah will be remembered as a devoted mother, a true friend, a peacemaker, and someone whose love for her family was evident in everything she did.

Sarah was preceded in death by her father, Joe Miller; and her brother, Clint Miller.

Sarah is survived by her son, Austin Jordan of Midland; daughter, Abby Jordan of Spearman; mother, Dorothy Miller of Pampa; sister, Penny Jones (Chris) of Southport, NC; nieces and nephews, Dusti Miller (Shannon), Wendi Horst (Kevon), Becca Shaw (Levi), Gavin Jimenez (Valeria), Keenan Jones (Sarah), Emma Hoyle (Eric); aunt, Linda Trimble (Dan) and her lifelong best friend, Andrea Baker; in addition to numerous cousins, great nieces, nephews and friends.
