Shirlieann Looper

Shirlieann Looper, 60, of Pampa, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026 in Pampa.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Silverton with Pastor GJ Walton, pastor at the First Baptist Church in Silverton, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Shirlieann was born in Perth, Scotland to Gilbert McCann and Jessie MacGregor McCann. She was raised in Scotland and attended university where she earned her master’s degree in social work. Shirlieann moved to the United States in 2002. She worked as a baker and chef for many years until her health would no longer allow it. Shirlieann met David Looper in 2014 and the two were married on May 9, 2015. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and crafting. Shirlieann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Jessie McCann; her brother, Gerry McCann; and two grandsons, William Hernandez and Johnathan Hernandez.

Shirlieann is survived by her husband, David Looper of the home; two daughters, Cara Chalmers and Shevon Hernandez and her husband Martin; sister, Cyndie Carr and husband Dave; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; many nieces and great-nephews; and her loyal companion/fur baby, Katniss Everdeen.
