Starlete Deaon Gidden

Starlete Deaon Gidden, of Pampa, passed away on June 29, 2023 in Amarillo.

No services are announced at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Starlete was born on September 28, 1971 in Amarillo to Alton and Jerrie Gidden. She spent most of her young life attending school and living in Amarillo. Starlete as soon as she could start traveling all over the United States living in various states that included New York, Missouri, Washington, Florida, and Texas. She was a true people person and through her travels and career in food service she made many friends.

Eventually she returned to the Panhandle of Texas, making her home in Pampa for the last several years. Starlete was a beautiful & fun-loving woman who usually was the center of attention and the life of the party. She will be remembered as a person who never met a stranger with a fierce and  loyal love for all of her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Starlete is survived by two daughters; a son; several grandchildren; and other extended family.
