Susie Marie Trout Ferguson

Susie Marie Trout Ferguson, 79, of Pampa, passed away November 25, 2019 in Amarillo. 

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2019, at Briarwood Church, with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, Paul Prestrud, and Rev. LaVon Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Susie was born April 6, 1940 to James and Susie Trout in McLean. She grew up in the McLean area and graduated from McLean High School. She married Cecil Ferguson on May 25, 1958. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and served in many areas as a women’s leader at the local and conference levels.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Cecil Ferguson; a daughter, Rae Lynne Prestrud and husband Paul of Baggs, Wyoming, and their children, Karlene, Hope and Landon, and grandchildren Allie, Lane, and Levi; a son, Ronnie Ferguson and wife Julie of McLean, and their daughters, Summer Anderson and husband Kolton of Miami, and Ashley Chisum and husband Blake of Pampa; her loving sisters, sister in law, brothers in law, and many, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.

She was a truly beautiful woman, wife, mom, and meme who will be greatly missed!
