Vicki Louise Baker

Vicki Louise Baker, 76, of Oklahoma City, went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 26, 2023.

Vicki chose to have a small family service in her childhood town. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Vicki was born July 21, 1946 in Oklahoma City to Ray and Floreine Rogers. She graduated from high school in Wilburton, Oklahoma where she continued to cherish many memories with lifelong classmates. Vicki married Billy Earl “Butch” Taylor on August 19, 1967 and they had two children, Brad and Mitzi. She later married Jim Baker. Vicki enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren dearly. She also enjoyed doing various crafts, painting and making beautiful flower arrangements and cards. 

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and both husbands, Butch and Jim.

Survivors include her son, Brad Taylor and wife Deanya of Edmond, Oklahoma; daughter, Mitzi McCullock and husband Brian of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; stepdaughter, Sheri Baker-Walton of Midwest City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Garret Taylor of Phoenix, Arizona, Drake Taylor of Edmond, Oklahoma, Katie McCullock and Dylan McCullock both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three step-grandchildren, Ben Bradley and Rylee Bradley of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Keri White of Encinitas, California.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made in her name to the OKCity Center, PO Box 42301, Oklahoma City 73123 or Project 34, 3818 N. Rockwell Ave., Bethany, Oklahoma 73008. Both organizations were dear to her.
