Vicki B. Hathaway

Vicki B. Hathaway, 65, of Lefors, passed away on May 15, 2026, in Lefors.

Services are pending with Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Vicki was born on October 1, 1960, in Pampa, to James and Mary Hathaway. She grew up and graduated from Pampa. After high school, she would start her family, having her two sons, Willie and Dante. Later, she would meet her future companion for life, David Boyd in 1989. They would move to Lefors in the late 90’s where they built their lives together before he preceded her in death in 2019.

Vicki worked as a caretaker for several years and served and helped many clients before her retirement. She found great enjoyment being outdoors; camping, fishing, and cooking out brought her much peace and happiness. Vicki was an outgoing and likeable person, but she could be candid and straightforward but always did that out of love. She will be a remembered as a fun-loving and free-spirited woman that her family and friends will miss.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; and son, Willie Hathaway.

Vicki is survived by her son, Dante Wilbon; grandchildren, Victoria, Michael, and Kambraya; great-grandchildren; brother, Eric Hathaway; brother-in-law, Dennis Boyd and wife Odie; a sister-in-law, Debi Alexander; and by other extended family.
