Victor Rios, de 57 años, Pampa, falleció el 8 de junio de 2026 en casa, acompañado de su querida familia.

La misa funeral será a las 10:00 de la mañana del viernes 12 de junio de 2026 en la Iglesia Católica de San Vicente de Paúl, con la reverenda Guadalupe Mayorga, párroco, oficiando. El entierro tendrá lugar en el cementerio Fairview bajo la dirección de Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

El rosario se recitará a las 18:00 horas del jueves en la funeraria.

Víctor nació el 28 de julio de 1968 en Jerécuaro, Guanajuato, Mexico hijo de Isabel y Maria Ríos. Asistió a la escuela y creció en México. Conoció y se casó con su verdadero amor, Irma, y se casaron en febrero de 1996. Poco después, decidieron hacer de Estados Unidos su nuevo hogar y se establecieron en Pampa.

Al llegar a Pampa, Victor encontró trabajo en varios sectores empresariales diferentes. Trabajó en el campo petrolífero, jardinería y agricultura. En el campo petrolífero trabajó para WO Well Service, en jardinería para West Texas Landscaping, y en la agricultura fue un empleado leal y apreciado de Brainard Cattle Company. Se le consideraba un buen empleado que siempre cuidaba su trabajo de forma impecable.

Además de ser trabajador, Victor también amaba a su familia con intensidad. Enseñó a todos sus hijos y nietos a trabajar y luchar duro cada día para construir una vida mejor para ellos. Victor también disfrutaba trabajando en su jardín, jugando con sus nietos y su perro, Ousie. Victor será recordado como una persona siempre feliz y positiva que, incluso cuando luchaba contra el cáncer, siempre se mantuvo positivo y optimista.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres; su hermana, Ema Rios; y por un hermano, Antonio Ríos.

Victor deja en vida a su esposa, Irma, de la casa; su hija, Monserrat Ríos, y su esposo, Paulino Madujano, ambos de Pampa; su hijo, Erick Ríos, y su esposa, María García, ambos de Pampa; cuatro nietos, Jayline Mandujano, Daniel Rios, Sofia Mandujano y Ailany Rios, todos de Pampa; hermanos, Melitón Ríos de Dallas, Pablo Ríos de México, Martín Ríos de Pampa, José Alberto Ríos, de Pampa; hermanas, Ester Ríos de Pampa, Flora Ríos, de México, Irma Ríos de México, Cristina Rios de Mexico y Margarita Ríos de México; y otros familiares extensos.

Victor Rios, 57, Pampa passed away on June 8, 2026, at home with his loving family by his side.

Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM, Friday, June 12, 2026, at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Guadalupe Mayorga, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

The rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.

Victor was born on July 28, 1968, in Jerécuaro, Guanajuato, Mexico to Isabel and Maria Rios. He attended school and grew up in Mexico. He would meet and marry his true love, Irma, and they married in February 1996. Shortly after, they would decide to make the United States their new home and they settled in Pampa.

Once coming to Pampa, Victor found work in several different business sectors. He worked in the oil field, landscaping, and agriculture. In the oil field, he worked for WO Well Service, for landscaping he worked for West Texas Landscaping, and in agriculture, he was a loyal and appreciated employee of Brainard Cattle Company. He was considered a good employee who always took immaculate care of his work.

Outside of being hard worker, Victor also loved his family fiercely. He taught all his children and grandchildren to work and fight hard each day to make a better life for themselves. Victor also found enjoyment working in his yard, playing with his grandchildren and his dog, Ousie. Victor will be remembered as an always happy and positive person who even when was struggling with Cancer, he always stayed positive and optimistic.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ema Rios; and by a brother, Antonio Rios.

Victor is survived by his wife, Irma of the home; daughter, Monserrat Rios and husband, Paulino Madujano, both of Pampa; son, Erick Rios and wife, Maria Garcia, both of Pampa; four grandchildren, Jayline Mandujano, Daniel Rios, Sofia Mandujano, and Ailany Rios, all of Pampa; brothers, Meliton Rios of Dallas, Pablo Rios of Mexico, Martin Rios of Pampa, Jose Alberto Rios, of Pampa; sisters, Ester Rios of Pampa, Flora Rios, of Mexico, Irma Rios of Mexico, Cristina Rios of Mexico, and Margarita Rios of Mexico; and other extended family.
