William "Bill" Bussard

William "Bill" Bussard, 70, beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on December 8, 2020 in Laguna Vista, Texas.

A private family graveside will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo with his daughter, Christi McInvale, eulogizing the service. Burial and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

He entered this world on February 28, 1950 in Amarillo, Texas, born to Benjamin "Bud" and Buna "Bea" Bussard. Bill graduated from Amarillo High School in 1968 and Texas Christian University in 1972. He took over Bud's Office Supply in Amarillo, later named Southwest Business Machines. In 1991, Bill relocated his family to Charlotte, North Carolina where he served as Executive Director of Independent Cash Register Dealers Association (ICRDA.)

In 2007 he moved back to Texas, working as a real estate broker in Laguna Vista until his recent retirement. Bill enjoyed deep sea fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife of thirty years, Jeannie Bussard, and his parents.

Bill is survived by his wife, Angela Bussard of Laguna Vista; three daughters, Jena Whitehead and husband David, and their children Gracie & William Whitehead, all of Dallas, Holly Marsh and husband Jordan and their children, Wyatt & Mason Marsh, all of Charleston, SC,  Christi and Mathew (Bryant) McInvale also of Charleston, SC; and a sister, Sandra McCartt of Amarillo.
